The
Lean Healthcare New England Conference's mission is to attain participation
by real Lean Healthcare
practitioners throughout New England, to share their experiences,
and to gain insight to Lean implementation strategy and tactics.
Two primary benefits in attending this conference are minimizing
registration costs and
maximizing knowledge transfer. When a conference like this is local,
shorter distances in every aspect will expedite your knowledge transfer
(Lean tours, same time zone communication, attending Lean presentations, local
organizations, Lean speeches) and increase your confidence in finding
the best resource (training, job opportunities, classes, consulting, products,
articles, books, etc.). Your hosts are committed to achieving these
benefits for
years to come.
Lean Healthcare New England is a non-profit entity formed in
2009, and is led by a committee of Lean and healthcare practitioners to
enable those followers throughout the Northeast to benefit from the latest
knowledge, resources and insight.
Lean Healthcare New England is made up of five
stakeholders (managers or hosts), each serving as an equal on the conference
committee. The conference committee appoints a conference chairman who
serves as the primary contact for each conference. The conference
chairman for the two 2010 conferences is Matt Morrissette, President of More
Effective Consulting, LLC. and a Lean Healthcare Master Black Belt.
